關於導賞 About the Guided Tour
「解語 · 紅梅:唐滌生創作傳奇」是紀念唐滌生(1917-1959)逝世60周年的特備展覽,以陳守仁教授的著作《唐滌生創作傳奇》為基礎,通過展示唐氏的素描、書法、手稿真跡等,從他的第一部粵劇作品《江城解語花》到他的最後作品《再世紅梅記》,窺探唐氏創作生涯的傳奇經歷。陳守仁教授將會帶領參加者深入認識唐滌生和他的經典名作。

From the Consoling Lotus to the Red Plum: The Legend of Tong Tik-sang’s Creative Career is a special exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the death of master Tong Tik-sang (1917-1959). Based on the book “The Legend of Tong Tik-sang’s Creative Career” by Professor Chan Sau Yan, this exhibition gives a glimpse into Tong’s career, from his first Cantonese opera The Consoling Lotus of Jiangcheng to his last work The Reincarnation of the Red Plum. The exhibition displays the originals of Tong’s drawings, calligraphy, manuscripts, etc. In this guided tour, Professor Chan Sau Yan will lead participants to learn more about the legendary creative journey of Tong Tik-sang, the greatest Cantonese opera playwright, and his masterpieces.

關於導賞者 About the Curator
陳守仁由1987年至2007年在香港中文大學音樂系任教,講授粵劇、實地考查方法學等課程,並曾出任大學通識教育副主任、粵劇研究計劃統籌及戲曲資料中心主任。他的近作有《神功戲在香港:粵劇、潮劇及福佬劇》(1996; 2012年再版)、《書譜絃歌:二十世紀上半葉粵劇音樂著述研究》(2015,與李少恩等合著) 、《唐滌生粵劇劇目概說: 任白卷》(2015年修訂版) 及《唐滌生創作傳奇》(2016)。他2008年初移居英國,2015年回香港定居;現從事研究、寫作、教育和義務工作。陳教授目前正在香港科技大學任教Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong Culture。
Professor Chan Sau yan served as a faculty member of the department of Music in The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1987 to 2007, teaching Cantonese opera and methodology of on-site investigation courses. He was the Associate Director of the University General Education (UGE), the coordinator of Cantonese opera investigation project and the director of Chinese Opera Information Centre. He has written various books on the history of Cantonese opera and the biography of Tong Tik-sang. He moved to Britain in 2008 and settled in Hong Kong in 2015 and work as an educator and researcher in Cantonese opera since then. Professor Chan is currently teaching Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong Culture in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
