E-Resources & Databases

The Alumni e-Resources service provides access to selected databases for HKUST graduates.

Important notice: The Alumni e-Resources service will end on 1 July 2026. Current subscribers can continue to use the service until June 2026.

Access to library

Visiting library in person and borrowing items are only available for alumni that have Reader Card/Borrower’s Card.

Reader Card: $50 per year | Borrower’s Card: $100 per year
Borrowing Privileges: 4 weeks for books; 7 days for media materials: loan quota 20

HKUST PowerSearch

Alumni can search the library collections using keywords as well as other personalized services, for example, save search queries and renew books.

WiFi Connections

Alumni are welcome to bring their own devices and connect to Internet use WiFi in the Library.
