About

Our Library houses some of the most outstanding maps and rare book collections in East Asia. Among the highlights are antique maps from distinct Chinese and European map-making traditions. They come in various types, ranging from global and national maps to regional, city, and coastal maps. Created for specific purposes within historical contexts, these artefacts showcase the rich and diverse cartographic heritage across different human cultures.
