I am a Science and Technology librarian liaising with Division of Environment and Sustainability in the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Division of Life Science and the Department of Ocean Science. I am the librarian who serves the School of Humanities & Social Sciences and the Division of Public Policy in the Academy for Interdisciplinary Studies. I enjoy helping students, instructors, and staff find answers to their questions, whether it is how to use a particular database, or how best to find sources for a research question. I enjoy working with faculty members to tailor-make outcome-based library workshops for their courses, to help students complete their course projects.

Hello, this is Jennifer, SciTech Librarian for the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics in the School of Engineering, and the Division of Integrative Systems and Design and the Division of Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas in the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies. I provide library instructional workshops to students of various levels, with topics ranging from literature search to research data management. In my daily work, I’m also responsible for selecting Chinese language books.

As the SciTech Librarian for the Department of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. I teach workshops on information skills, searching and citing sources effectively and provide orientations to the science community. You are most welcome to contact me for individual consultations. I also help select books and evaluate electronic resources to develop the library collections pertinent to science and technology. As the Information Literacy Manager, my other role is to supervise all aspects of the Library information literacy program.

This is Aster, one of the engineering librarians at HKUST Library. I work closely with the Departments of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronic & Computer Engineering to support their learning and research needs. I also teach workshops on a variety of topics, such as literature search, web scraping, AI tools for literature review, and scholarly publishing.

This is Kevin, one of the Business Librarians at HKUST Library. Besides delivering instructional programs and research consultations, I also work closely with other librarians to support researchers with requests on bibliometrics, research impact and scholar profiles.
