Duties
- The student will work at the Learning Commons Helpdesk or on library floors for Access Services duties.
- Helpdesk duties include aiding users, answering general enquiries, maintaining the study environment, checking teaching venue equipment after events are completed, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong sense of team spirit.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
- Availability to work regular hours weekly, including early morning, late hours, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties
Assist in developing online mini-courses, 3D virtual tours, interactive videos and games
Requirements
- Good computer skills and written/spoken English
- Good visual/graphic sense
- Basic experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Canva)
Experience with e-learning, video production, 3D virtual tours, or game development tools is an advantage.
Intended Learning Outcomes
- Gain hands-on experience in creating interactive educational content.
- Develop e-learning materials to support student learning at the University.
Salary
HK$68 per hour (Up to 10 hrs/wk in May; up to 16 hrs/wk in June-August)

- Monitor the Archives Office and KPS Gallery.
- Assist with routine operational tasks, including answering walk-in enquiries, supporting users, monitoring the environmental conditions and taking care of dehumidifiers.
- Assist with data input for collection processing.
- Assist with preparation of exhibitions and visits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

The Research & Learning Support Services section is seeking student workers to assist in managing research outputs on two platforms to increase the visibility of HKUST’s research and facilitate scholarly communication. The platforms are:
The HKUST Research Portal, which serves as a single-source-of-truth platform that consolidates and showcases HKUST research achievement
The Scholarly Publication Database (SPD) which acts as the institutional repository to collects and preserves research outputs of the HKUST community
Responsibilities of the role:
Validate, add, and update records in HKUST Research Portal
Manage HKUST Scholarly Publication Database
Check sources, de-duplicate, and ensure record accuracy
Requirements:
Meticulous attention to detail
Comfortable with repetitive tasks
Excellent written/spoken English with Chinese highly desirable
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Appointment Period: June – August 2026
Working Hours: Part-time
Monday-Friday; 9:00am – 5:00pm
16 hours per week
Salary: HK$68 per hour
