Subject Librarians

Subject librarians are your first point of contact regarding library services. They provide research coaching, faculty orientation, offer course and subject specific library classes, and liaise with faculty members for archiving research output in the Institutional Repository and DataSpace@HKUST

I enjoy working with faculty members to tailor-make outcome-based library workshops for their courses, to help students complete their course projects.

Hello, this is Jennifer, SciTech Librarian for the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics in the School of Engineering, and the Division of Integrative Systems and Design and the Division of Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas in the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies. I provide library instructional workshops to students of various levels, with topics ranging from literature search to research data management. In my daily work, I’m also responsible for selecting Chinese language books.
