Issued when Library is open	Close once it is announced that Signal No. 8 is likely to be issued within two hours
Fall Term, Spring Term & Summer Term (Monday – Friday)
Cancelled before 5 pm	Open as soon as feasible within two hours
Cancelled after 5 pm	Remain closed
Summer Term (Saturday & Sunday), Summer Break (Monday – Friday) & Public Holidays
Cancelled before 3 pm	Open as soon as feasible within two hours
Cancelled after 3 pm	Remain closed
Summer Break (Saturday)
Cancelled before 1 pm	Open as soon as feasible within two hours
Cancelled after 1 pm	Remain closed

 

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons follows the Library opening and closing in regards to Signal 8. On a day when the Learning Commons is scheduled to open 24-hours, and a Signal 3 is issued during the day, the Learning Commons will close with the Library. If a Signal 3 is issued on a day when the Library is closed, Learning Commons will also close. If Signal 8 is cancelled, Learning Commons will reopen as soon as feasible after the Library reopens.
