Visitors’ Registration for Exhibition – “China in Maps: 500 Years of Evolving Images”

Exhibition period

28 September 2023 – 7 June 2024 (except Public Holidays)

Opening hours

10am to 6pm or Library closing (whichever is earlier)
(Please refer to Library website for opening hours)

Last Admission: 5pm (or 1 hour before Library closing)

Registration

  • HKUST community – Access via HKUST ID card. Registration is not required.
  • Non-HKUST community visitors – Advance registration is required for accessing the exhibition areas inside the Library.

Booking a visit

  • All bookings will be on a first-come-first-served basis. A notification email with QR code will be sent to the applicant.
  • Each booking is for one person.
  • A booking can be made 4 to 14 days in advance. Failure to provide sufficient and accurate data may affect the processing time and application result.
  • The HKUST Library reserves the right to approve or reject any application.
  • To cancel or change a confirmed booking, please email library@ust.hk.

Visiting

  • Visitors need to present the QR code for accessing the exhibition areas in the Library.
  • For safety reasons and to avoid injuries, visitors must comply with all posted notices, and directions or requests made by HKUST Library staff.

Inclement weather

  • If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted on the day of visit or during the visit, the Gallery will be closed for the day, and all visits will be cancelled.
  • If Black Rainstorm Warning is in force before or during the normal opening time, the Gallery will be closed for the day, and all visits will be cancelled.
  • No compensatory arrangements will be made. Visitors will have to rebook another session via the online registration page.

  • These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without notice.
  • The HKUST Library's data privacy policy applies to all personal data collected from the registration.
