First Complete Study of Western Maps of China
Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Ko the library has been working on the first comprehensive book on Western Early Printed Maps of China, to be published in the first half of 2022 in the Explokart Series of the Dutch publisher Brill.
The bulk of the book is written by the head of the Special Collections, Dr. Marco Caboara, and the most authoritative scholars of Chinese cartography, both Western and Chinese, are contributing to the introduction, the first systematic coverage of this field in any language.
