These orientation sessions and workshops are designed especially for PGs, to help make your research & learning more efficient & effective.

Orientation in Fall 2024

Embark on your academic journey with us. We’re here to help you navigate towards success!

Join our orientation and get familiar with the Library facilities, resources and service points in this 75-minute briefing session. 

You can choose to join F2F or Zoom session. 

Location
Face-to-face sessions: gather at the Library G/F Gallery
Online via Zoom: Zoom url and passcode will be sent at 5pm, 1 day before the registered session

Professional Development Workshop for Research Postgraduate (RPGs)

The Library offers Researchers’ Series workshops for RPGs as part of the HKUST’s Professional Development Courses for:

  • PDEV 6770A (School of Science)
  • PDEV 6770B (School of Engineering)
  • PDEV 6770C (School of Business & Management)
  • PDEV 6770D (School of Humanities & Social Sciences)
  • PDEV 6770E (Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies)

The PDC system can be accessed via Student Intranet. First-time users can refer to the Student User Guide for technical details.

Other Library Classes
