Supporting Your Learning, Teaching and Research
HKUST Library’s primary mandate is to support your learning, teaching, and research. To this end, Library staff members build and maintain an extensive array of material in multiple formats, covering many different subjects.
This rich array of resources supports the core curriculum, general education, 3-3-4 enrichment, and whole person development, as well as research in all areas, especially HKUST’s strategic high impact areas: Nano-science and Nano-Technology; Biological Sciences and Biotechnology; Electronics, Wireless and Information Technology; Environment and Sustainable Development; and Management Education and Research.
The Library selects, acquires, classifies, catalogs, organizes, manages, and preserves these print, digital and multi-media collections so you can access them easily and use them effectively.
We provide you a wide range of services to help you use resources within HKUST Library, and to obtain information outside it (both locally and globally).
To assist you to become smart information users, we offer you orientation programs, induction tours, library classes, and online self-help guides.
