Mr Lin Rui-hua is renowned for his “Hand Pinching Technique”. He is able to compress strips of clay into different shapes and figures, leaving his fingerprints and the natural texture of the clay. His works are rough and plain, which are greatly enhanced by the high-temperature wood firing, giving them a natural, soft and smooth look reflecting his own personal characteristics. Mr Lin will show his special artistic hand pinching technique during the Demonstration sessions.
林瑞華先生擅長「手擠坯」；他用泥條擠出各種變化的造型，並留下自然的手紋、陶土的質感。其作品造型厚拙樸實，加上及後柴燒帶來的質樸溫潤的色澤﹐更突顯出他個人的風格特質。林先生將向參加者展示他「手擠坯」的奇技。
Students will get course hours after attending the Demonstration for fulfillment of Healthy Lifestyle (HLTH1010) Course Requirements.
