CORD-19 is a free dataset with over 45,000 scholarly articles about COVID-19 and related coronavirus to support researchers in fighting against the pandemic. The dataset was created by the Allen Institute for AI in partnership with other research groups such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It contains over 45,000 articles from peer-reviewed publications and archival services like bioRxiv and medRxiv of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Among these articles, more than 33,000 are with full text. Update is done on a weekly basis.
Researchers can search the dataset using the CORD-19 Explorer or download the entire dataset.
Detailed information on Dataset License and citation format can be found at Semantics Scholar CORD-19 web page. This page also provides links to other resources including the Database of publications on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) from WHO and Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by the Johns Hopkins University.
In addition to CORD-19, to assist online research during this difficult time, several publishers have enabled free trial access to their databases and journals. The expiry dates vary, but most of this access will last until the end of May. Visit the Special Free Access – Databases and Journals during COVID-19 Library web page for a list of available resources.
