Getting the Most out of LinkedIn Learning

MTPC and Library are jointly offering LinkedIn Learning to all HKUST staff and students. Have you got your account yet? 

LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform that helps you discover and develop new skills. Simply sign up for a personal account to enjoy unlimited access to over 16,000 expert-led course videos covering business, creative, and technology topics

Most courses are broken into bite-sized chunks and they can be watched on your devices anytime, anywhere. Once you finish a course, LinkedIn Learning will issue you a certificate of completion. You can add it to your LinkedIn profile to share your accomplishment with your network and to showcase the new skills that you have attained!

User Feedback

Recently, HKUST LinkedIn Learners were invited to fill out an online survey about their learning experience on the platform. The feedback was very positive:  

  • 87% agreed that LinkedIn Learning is user-friendly.
  • 84% agreed that it provides effective tools to reach their learning objectives.
  • 91% said it is helpful for self-pace online learning.
